Welcome to Clear Cache, a Chrome extension (the “extension”) that helps you clear your browsing data. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing a functional and efficient browser extension. We collect only the information that is essential for the core operation of our extension and to fulfill our commitments to our subscribers. This Privacy Policy discloses information we collect, process, and use when you download and use the extension, visit our website (the “Site”), and use our products and services we offer via the Site (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are made available by Little Void LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and we will use reasonable efforts to alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of this Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the Sites or Services after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted, you will be subject to, and be deemed to have accepted, the changes therein.
2. Information We Collect
We collect and handle certain information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”) and we only collect and handle the Personal Information necessary to provide and improve our services. We strictly limit our data collection to what is functionally required for the extension’s operation and user account management. This includes:
2.1 User Settings and Preferences
- Domains, time periods for which to remove data, and which data to remove
- These settings are stored locally or synced via Google Chrome’s storage API
- This information is essential for the core functionality of Clear Cache
- No browsing data is accessed directly by us, except through the Chrome browsing data API, which only provides functionality to remove data, not read it.
2.2 Account-Related Information
For Clear Cache Plus subscribers, we collect:
- Email addresses (for login purposes and essential communication)
- Subscription information (to validate active subscriptions)
- A token to validate the subscription with our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited and Paddle.com Inc. (collectively, “Paddle”)
This information is necessary to provide and maintain your Clear Cache Plus subscription.
2.3 Payment and Transaction Information
All payment information is handled exclusively by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. Clear Cache does not have direct access to your payment details, ensuring an additional layer of security for your financial information.
However, Paddle does collect and share with us certain transaction-related information:
- Customer names
- Country of residence
- Zip/Postal code
We have access to this information through Paddle’s transaction records. This data is used for account management, compliance with tax regulations, and to provide customer support.
2.4 Information Automatically Collected
When you subscribe to or view prices for Clear Cache Plus, we may temporarily collect:
- IP-based location
- Language preferences
This information is collected solely to maintain the security of Clear Cache subscriptions and to provide pricing in your local currency. It is not stored permanently and is used only for these specific purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information, including the transaction-related data shared by Paddle, to:
- Provide and improve Clear Cache’s functionality
- Communicate with you about your account and subscription
- Validate active subscriptions
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax regulations
- Provide customer support
- For other purposes with your consent
We may also use anonymous analytics to optimize the user experience, but this data will not be sold or transferred to other parties.
4. Data Storage and Transmission
Specifically, we store and transmit your Personal Information in the following ways:
- User options and settings are stored locally or synced via Google Chrome’s storage API
- Email addresses and subscription information are securely transmitted to our authentication platform, AWS Cognito
- Subscription-related information is securely transmitted to our Merchant of Record, Paddle
5. Sharing of Information
We share information with the following third-party service providers:
5.1 AWS Cognito
- Purpose: User authentication
- Data shared: Email addresses
5.2 Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and Paddle.com Inc.)
- Purpose: Payment processing and subscription management as Merchant of Record
- Data shared: Email addresses, subscription information
Clear Cache uses Paddle as our Merchant of Record for all transactions related to Clear Cache Plus. This means:
- Paddle is the seller of record for all purchases of Clear Cache Plus.
- All payment processing is handled by Paddle.
- Paddle collects and processes all payment-related data, including credit card information.
- Clear Cache does not have access to your full payment details.
The information we receive from Paddle is limited to:
- Your email address (for account creation and communication)
- Your subscription status (to validate your access to Clear Cache Plus features)
- Your name, country of residence, and zip/postal code (for account management and tax compliance)
We share information with Paddle to validate subscriptions for Clear Cache Plus, allow provisioning of the extension, provide support, prevent fraud, and for other legitimate purposes as described in our Data Sharing Addendum with Paddle.
We do not sell your personal information or transfer it to data brokers.

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. After you have canceled your subscription or ceased using the Services we usually delete Personal Information, however, we may retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
7. Information from Minors
Clear Cache does not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using Clear Cache, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users under 18 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By submitting your Personal Information to us or to a third-party via our Sites or Services, you acknowledge that you will be voluntarily transferring your Personal Information to a jurisdiction which may not provide the same privacy framework as other regions. If you live in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”), the Personal Information that we collect from you may therefore be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the EEA. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers or partners. By submitting your Personal Information, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing outside of the EEA. We take steps to ensure that the data we collect under this Privacy Policy is stored and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where the data is located.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect and store. This includes:
- Encrypting all sensitive or personal information during transmission using secure connections (HTTPS)
- Storing data at rest using strong encryption methods
- Requesting only the minimum necessary permissions required for the extension to function
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use only essential cookies to store user settings. We do not use cookies to track behavior or sell any preferences or data to third parties.

We put our customers first and respect your ability to exercise your privacy rights and choices. Where possible, we give you control over the Personal Information we collect about you, to ensure it is accurate and reflects your preferences.

Additionally, you may opt-out of a company’s disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for its direct marketing purposes, to the extent we disclose your Personal Information to third parties for such purposes.
11.2 Exercising Your Privacy Rights
If you have entrusted us with your Personal Information, you may exercise the above rights by submitting a verifiable consumer request to us by email at privacy@clearcache.io.
We cannot respond to your request if we are unable to verify your identity or authority. Your verifiable request must include the reference “Privacy Request” in the subject line and the body of the message must:
- provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person whose Personal Information we have collected;
- describe your request with sufficient detail; and
- include an e-mail address or mailing address, as applicable, for us to send our response.
We strive to respond to verifiable consumer requests within 30 days; however, if we require an extension (up to an additional 60 days) we will inform you of this extension and the reason in writing. Data disclosure requests will only include data collected within the 12-month period preceding the receipt of the verified request. We do not charge a fee to process requests to exercise your rights unless the requests are found to be excessive, repetitive, or unfounded.

12. Do-Not-Track Features
Clear Cache does not currently respond to Do-Not-Track (DNT) browser signals or other similar mechanisms. However, if a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
13. Other Sites, Mobile Applications, and Services
The Site may contain links to other websites and online services operated by third parties. These links are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. In addition, our content may be included on web pages or online services that are not associated with us. We do not control third party websites or online services, and we are not responsible for their actions. Other websites and services follow different rules regarding the collection, use and sharing of your Personal Information. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites and online services you use.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of the policy.
